Because medications are working to keep people alive longer and longer, the role of a caregiver in North American society can not be over looked. We must do what we can to help support caregivers (maybe we can help by giving them a break from their duties... or maybe we can direct them to helpful information / resources - like this web page filled with free educational support.)

We will all face the moment of death. It is at this moment that many people meet all they have ever longed for or all they have ever feared. What happens at this moment, no one really knows. Various religions have various beliefs. Many who have died and come back to life testify to a "white light" that feels peaceful and loving. At a hospice conference of over 1,500 hospice professionals a survey was taken asking many different questions. One question was "Do you feel that a hospice patient has ever contacted you after their death?" 76% of the professionals present at this conference said "yes" to that question. Many feel what happens to the human organism at the time of death is a mystery.

Whatever the journey for the patient, it's the caregiver who bears witness to the daily and sometimes difficult task of helping a loved one with the details of a serious illness.

According to Bill Moyers on a PBS television special, 2010 / 2011 is the time that the "bell curve" "peaks" for Baby Boomers who are taking care of their aging parents. Tens of millions of Baby Boomers in North America are dealing with the difficult and privileged task of caring for aging parents or an aging spouse.

In support of these caregivers (both professional and non professional), Livingwithquality.com is offering free support through these ten educational and inspirational Video Clips from the Video Book Where Souls Meet: Caring for the seriously ill. This is over three hours of stories, poetry and thought provoking ideas presented with stunning nature video of sunsets, rainforest water falls and flowers of every shape, size and color.
